Additional Information
The regular Nassau County Monday ride, led by Don Eipert and the co-ride leader of choice, will depart at 9:00 AM from the parking lot just SW of the Winn Dixie shopping center (near the movie theater), at 96076 Loften Square Ct, Yulee FL, 32097. The route will be approximately 35, 32, or 25 miles long and will include byways and backroads in the greater Yulee area, with two rest stops. The pace will accommodate our "C" and "S" riders. After the ride, some cyclists may stop for lunch at about 11:30 am at San Jose's Mexican Grill at 463797 E. State Rd 200, Yulee FL, 32097.
Cyclists of all abilities are welcome. Typically there will be a faster group and a slower group. We'll have riders of A(18-21), B(14-17), C(Up to 14 MPH), and S (Social Ride – speed of the slowest rider in the group) paces. Anyone who joins the group will not be left behind.
Bicycle helmets are mandatory, as is a bicycle in good working condition. Safe cycling is an absolute must, and safety will be emphasized before the start of each ride. As always, cyclists are required to obey all traffic laws, or risk being ticketed by local law enforcement officers.
