The Amelia Island Trail Social Ride is a beginning level ride perfect for those just starting to bicycle with groups and for those that prefer a slow paced relaxing bicycle journey. The pace will be comfortable for all types of bicycles.
The Amelia Island Trail is an off-road paved (10 feet wide) recreational path on which no motorized vehicles are allowed. Experienced Ride Leaders will ride at the front and rear of the group and no rider will be left behind. As you ride you will learn how to ride safely with a group.
The rides begins at the North Trailhead of the Amelia Island Trail within Peters Point Beachfront Park and goes south, stopping briefly at Burney Park (via riding on Burney Road) and then back on the trail to the turn-around point at the George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier at the south end of Amelia Island. After another rest stop it heads back to the start for a total distance of just over 16 miles. There are restrooms and drinking water at Peter's Point Park and Burney Park. There are restrooms at the GCB Fishing Pier, but no drinking water.
Please note that minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent on North Florida Bicycle Club Rides.

This A/B/C ride starts at the Publix parking lot in the Murabella Shopping Center close to the entrance of World Golf Village. Choose to challenge yourself in a pace line or enjoy the scenery as you ride through St. Johns County, along the St. Johns River to Buddy Boys and back to World Golf Village. After the ride join other riders at the TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE for a smoothie, sandwich or some coffee!
This ride has 2 start locations, currently we are starting at the Moccasin Slough Park, then we ride west on the beautiful new Cathedral Oaks Parkway to Lake Asbury which we ride around the southern lake and then return to the park.
Starting in Moccasin Slough Park on Raggedy Point Road on Fleming Island we work our way to US-17 through Green Cove Springs and actually riding by the springs the town is named for, and back to Moccasin Slough Park.
